All Tied Up

I've been collecting 50s vintage skirts since forever and this is probably my favorite one. I feel so pretty and girly when I wear it, the only problem is that it always gets caught in the car door. Wore this to a late brunch with my dad. I think it's really important to dress up for brunch on Sundays.

Also wearing a Madewell longsleeve tee, sterling silver jewelry, Ray Ban sunglasses, and Saint Laurent sandals. 

The Jane

So I finally found the perfect minimal sandal I had been looking for. I spotted them on a random tumblr a few months ago and immediately called the YSL boutique to pre-order. Finally picked them up yesterday morning and I'm so in love! Can't wait to wear them with everything in my closet...

Madewell Opening in Santa Monica

I've been a big fan of Madewell jeans for the longest time, so I was really excited when they invited me to hang out at their brand new location at the Third Street Promenade this past Tuesday night...

I wore a Madewell plaid silk shirt, the skinny skinnies, YSL clutch, and Manolo Blahnik ankle-strap pumps.

A Man Shirt

I probably own at least 10 men's white dress shirts. They go with almost everything in my closet from vintage Levi's and some sneakers to tight pencil skirts. Wore my J. Crew button-down with a leather skirt from Asos and some Louboutin pumps for a late lunch last weekend...

Also wearing Spitfire sunglasses, Karen London gold hoops, and Karla Deras x Roman Luxe python ring.

Madewell

I've never been one to embrace plaid, but there's something about these Madewell trousers that I love. I paired them with a longsleeve tee by Madewell, Theyskens' Theory navy leather jacket, vintage sterling silver jewelry, and Jimmy Choo pumps.

Madewell is opening a new location at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica next Tuesday (January 22nd)! I'll be there from 5-8pm to celebrate their grand opening and would love for you guys to stop by and say hi! You can RSVP here.

Golden Globes Party

I love it when I have an excuse to get all dressed up. Deciding on what to wear or how to do your hair and makeup is at least half the fun of going out. This past Saturday night gave me a reason to slip on a satin dress and wear stunning gold jewels (borrowed from LoveGold, of course)...

LoveGold hosted another beautiful party at Chateau Marmont's Selma House, this time in honor of Julianne Moore who looked lovely in all black and vintage Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry...

I wore a dress by Shareen, hoops by Ofira, K. Brunini pearl ring, and Carrera y Carrera flower ring.

On Wednesday afternoon, I headed over to the Chateau Marmont for a lovely luncheon hosted by LoveGold in honor of Miss Golden Globes. LoveGold seeks out the world's most beautiful gold jewelry, the designers creating it, and the people wearing it...

Tree branches adorned in high-carat gold jewelry from different designers such as Pamela Love to Neil Lane decorated one of the rooms...

I wore rings and a necklace by Solange Azagury-Partridge with a vintage peplum jacket and velvet pants by J Brand. 

Over the next couple months, I'll be collaborating with LoveGold and sharing more about their diverse and edited collection of contemporary gold jewelry.

Pinstripe

Crop tops (and bra tops) have been my thing for a couple years now... I just feel so comfortable in them! Wore this little Topshop tee with a pair of pinstripe trousers by Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga pouch, and vintage jewelry...

January Inspirations

A new year has begun and I'm excited for all of the changes it brings. I love evolution and change- I would never want to be the same person I was a year ago.  That being said, I thought it'd be a great idea to start off with fresh new inspirations, moods, and ideas...

 Lately I've found myself being inspired by things that are a bit more subdued. Less color, less crazy prints.  Here on this mood board you will find: a shearling parka, Salvador Dali art, Kate Moss in white, Proenza pre-fall, modernist sterling silver jewelry, my dream Gucci sandals, slinky black silk dress, custom Nike air max 90s, and Christy Turlington's tousled bob.
