Some of my current inspiration: full-skirted Dior dress in the perfect shade of pink, Lana Del Rey and her chucks, crystal brooches pinned onto the hair, a vintage Porsche, gold applique flowers, sexy Miu Miu pumps, and Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 weeks.

I detect a cool early 1960s vibe in all of this, but then again inspiration shouldn't always be restricted to time periods. Love this!

for me, this is more 60s, as was re-interpreted with the 1980s lens.... a bit flashier and more bold.

Basinger's outfits are an inspiration, and her hair is lovely :) Notice also the pale eyebrows she sported back then - it's just wonderful. I had just recently been inspired by her (in My stepmother is an alien) and by the party girl in 'Garden State' to go for pale eyebrows, so that's me nowadays :)
