I know this is a fashion blog but hey - this is HISTORY. The "Basquiat-esque mural" is a part of the Berlin wall!!!! (I know,because I have been to that cafe, too). People died at this wall, trying to flee from the oppressed east to the free west, it is THE symbol of the cold war. Look, I know you are a designer/blogger and not a historian, but you really have to know a few basics, okay? Because a faux pas like this is ... well... embarrassing. It won't hurt if next time you check out the landmarks around you. You actually might be inspired.
