Ruffles For Days

What I love most about this dress is the Prince of Wales check print- reminds me of this Salvatore Ferragamo clutch I posted on one of my mood boards a while back.
Wearing my vintage dress with Gucci python pumps, Karla's Closet for Coach clutch, and Roberto Cavalli snake cuff.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Tiffany's

Wearing a pair of Tiffany & Co. sunglasses that were gifted to me last week at a lovely dinner party hosted by The Glamourai for the launch of their latest eyewear. The party was held at the Tiffany suite at the St. Regis Hotel in New York where we were all treated to Deborah Lippman manicures and delicious food! Here are a few photos of the suite...

Snapshots in the City

Been in NYC for almost a week now. I'm enjoying my time here, but I'm getting a little bit homesick (pathetic, I know). Anyway here are some photos I've taken the past few days...
Wearing Margiela jacket, men's Uniqlo cashmere sweater, See by Chloe skinny pants, vintage Larry Vrba earrings, Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, Rayban sunglasses, and Camille Zarsky portfolio clutch.
Pretty dresses at Shareen Vintage
Margiela jacket, T-shirt by Bess, vintage skirt, and Kelly Wearstler clutch. NY makes me want to wear a lot of black, I don't know why.
Turkey, arugula, and lingonberry jam sandwich from a cafe on Spring Street
Teal python platform pumps by Gucci...I couldn't resist!!
A quick thank you to W Downtown for having me this week!

Seventh Avenue

I'm in NYC for meetings and had a busy day yesterday running around the city. Wore these Marni wool trousers that have been sitting in my closet for a year or so and never wore because they were so ridiculously long! I finally got around to taking them to my tailor...love how they still cover my shoes.
Wearing them with a Madewell denim shirt, Coach leather bag, Elizabeth and James Zelzah sunglasses, vintage jewelry and Nina Ricci pumps.

Lemonhead

We experienced a sudden heatwave this past week here in the city so I've been forced to wear nothing but tanks and mini dresses. Yesterday I pulled out this vintage yellow coat I found a long time ago at Shareen's for an omelette at my favorite cafe!
I'm not so sure why my pinky finger is freaking out...
Wearing vintage 501s from American Rag, J.crew tank, Chloe shoes, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, and lucite bangles from the flea market.
Heading to New York in a few days and I have a lot to do before I leave. Happy Monday everyone!

Prints Charming

Last week I was invited to a dinner party at the incredible home of Kelly Wearstler. I had a blast spending time with my beautiful blogger friends and meeting Kelly who was super sweet and gracious! Here are a few photos of what I wore...
Wearing a 70s Lanvin dress from Shareen, Ray-ban sunglasses, YSL clutch, Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, and vintage bakelite earrings.

Elie Saab Le Parfum

I've always been a fan of Elie Saab's couture gowns, ever since he dressed Halle Berry for the Oscars back in 2002. His designs evoke a certain elegance and charm- backless slinky gowns and silk tulle dresses doused with sequins make you feel like you're the most beautiful woman in the world. Now, Elie Saab can say he is a lot more than a fashion designer with his new fragrance, Elie Saab Le Parfum. With this fragrance, the designer offers women a moment of timeless femininity... A new way to bring the exceptional, as one might wear the beautiful dresses in his collection...

I am completely in love with this fragrance. It is a very feminine scent, but still makes a strong statement. The orange blossom, jasmine, and cedar notes are not too over-powering, resulting in a sweet woody floral perfume. Remember when I posted about my trip to Paris? I was there shooting a video for the Elie Saab Le Parfum. Here are a few behind-the-scene photos...
Check out the video or learn more about the fragrance!

Lovecrimes

So this is my go-to outfit, a ribbed tank and jeans... very simple, but I think it always looks great!
Necklace by Kelly Wearstler. Stones and rocks always make beautiful jewelry, but the orange quartz caged in brass makes this necklace so much more unique!
Wearing gold jeans that I found at Zara, J.crew white tank, python Nina Ricci pumps, Kelly Wearstler necklace, Karen Walker sunglasses and vintage ring.
