Puffers

I think for the most part, puffer vests get a bad rep for being 'unstylish'. Well, I beg to differ! I love wearing them belted or zipped over cashmere cardigans. Here are some looks I love that are all about the puffer vest:
Marni's Pre-Fall 2011 collection and a photo from The Sartorialist
Wore my Gap kids vest with vintage Ralph Lauren trousers, Nina Ricci ankle-strap pumps, dad's python belt, Karen Walker sunglasses, and vintage earrings.

puffers are always classic. i got a great one for this winter season from rebecca taylor. it was her cheetah print on a navy mid length puffer jacket. looked great with everything.

Ciao Karla,

Cute → ♥ that Marni/Moncler type look! That belt you're wearing in the pic. would even look good on the outside of the puffer vest to 'cinch' it a bit just above the waist... ♥ your individual style, Karla ☆

Puffer/down coats can be repulsive (my aunt has one that goes down to her ankles; one word: eskimo), but I've seen a few that can look amazing if worn right - like what you've done here.

Years ago, my best friend gave me a burgundy puffer with tiny ruffled sleeves and a vintage feel. I can't bear the thought of ever parting with it.

A puffer, when done right, is okay in my book. Love your choice of orange. Orange is my go-to color for Spring (if we ever get there!).

Not a very obvious combination; you look like a very chique and elegant marine. The shoes; earrings and belt are so graceful and modish. The pants have the most fabulous cut and color; the t-shirt is very simple but looks incredible stylish. And then the vest, not evident, but I love the color and it gives you’re look a totally different turn. Great inspiration to be; dare to combine. Btw I love the blue background.
