Apologies for being a horrible blogger- I came down with the flu, so there wasn't much to blog about this past weekend. Anyway, a lot of people have asked about my room and I finally got around to snapping a few photos of it...

I love that its not too perfectly organised as people tend to make it before photos...not very realistic! But love the simplicity yet details of the books, splattered paints and introduction of colours with slightly rustic furniture too.

I love the traditional chair with the exotic pillow...I picked up a whole bunch of pillows similar to that one at a thrift store the other day. Your photos have inspired me to pair them with a really traditional damask. Love the peak inside your home!

I ABSOLUTELY adore an eclectic style: Mixing up pieces from a flea market, foreign trips and interior designer. Above all that I also love the fact that your room doesn’t have a very clean and minimalistic look. you like to mix up some extraordinary colors: the blue, curry, gold and red are fantastic together. A feature wall always does the trick. You have kept the rest of the walls pretty simple, so all the attention goes to the headboard. Hope you are feeling better.
