A Staple in Karla's Closet

One of my favorite things to wear are these American Apparel U-neck long sleeve dresses. Great for those moments when you feel like you have nothing to wear (and I tend to feel like that a lot for some reason). I recently ordered a couple more of the same dress- they've become almost like a t-shirt in my closet! Definitely thinking about getting one in a different color! Worn with a Lanvin feathersuede jacket, vintage jewelry and embossed leather clutch, and YSL imperial pumps.

What's the one thing in your closet you don't mind wearing over and over again??

If YOU feel like you have nothing to wear what hope do the rest of us have?!
And when in doubt I tend to throw a black blazer over anything and everything.

There was a time I bought a simple long sleeved top from Cotton On in all the colours available because it has such a nice fit and really comfortable. But then after a while I felt like I was wearing the same thing all the time, usually happens a lot in Winter time haha.

I love the sytle and the colours! you look brilliant

Wow! Would love to see more of that clutch- is it vintage?? I have never bought one of those, for some strange reason...feel like I should!
Your new hair is gorgeous.

I guess for me that thing is a pair of canvas toms shoes. Pretty boring, but I've been wearing them to run around since 2006! I've killed at least 10 pair.

Boots! When in doubt, I throw on some boots (summer's hard for me).

They make your outfit a little more dressed up and boots with heels are still comfortable because you have the ankle support.

Karla stunning, so late 80s/90s i love it, your hair looks great and the colour of your clutch mathces your shoes perfectly.banging figure.

For me it's always a long black cardigan, when im not in the mood to try i just put it on and i look put together, also a u-neck dress, with a flannel shirt or cardigan and if im going out a black over size blazer. Jeans is always a staple piece, not always comfotable but it works.

I love having some classic pieces - for me, the one item that never grows old is a vintage grey wollen Jaeger jumper that I bought in a charity shop. It's incredibly comfy, versatile and quite classic in shape.
