The weather has been so beautiful lately, I figured it was only appropriate to whip out one of my favorite frilly skirts on a trip to run errands...
Wore a sequined gold blouse from American Rag, vintage navy blue blazer, Topshop tutu-esque skirt, and one of my favorite pair of shoes by Prada..
Thanks for all of the bike-riding tips, I really am considering buying a bike this weekend.

@Jillie you're extremely misplaced in your backlashing. Style is how you carry yourself, and I think Karla is working the outfit well. She looks completely at ease, and it's that edge of confidence that makes or breaks an outfit. Besides, the sequins work interestingly well with the nude skirt. A longer skirt here with that blazer would actually set off the proportion. And yes, non anorexic people can wear a short skirt and rock it. You've a lot to learn dear, both about fashion and manners.

You look so great and you have become a role model for style and body image; I love how you disagree with what the media is telling us on how to look and how to dress in order to hide certain body parts. If you are considering a bike I have a Pashley Princess and would really recommed it. It's hand built in Stratford on Avon (UK) and has a huge basket on the front, it's just beautiful. I'm not sure you can get them in the states, but google it and you will find the website. Hoping to get some photographs of mine as soon as the weather is a little nicer.

I would think that Jessica Simpson has taught us to embrace our bodies, and be proud. So what if the legs are a little muscular that's a dancer's legs. I'm so proud of this girl showing her lovely limbs and being PROUD of them! We are too critical of others, which only shows a complete lack of self-assurance in our own skin. I am proud to be a fan of this blog...because it's owner shows that she is a woman with curves and shape and she's proud to display it. I'm going to say something that might hurt, but it's something everyone is thinking but no one is willing to tell you. You don't have the body for this outfit. You are not a big girl, but this outfit is not flattering at all and makes you look chunky. Especially the shoes that wrap around your ankles. If you lost about 15 pounds this would be a great look on you.
