I attempted to try the whole "crimson lip" thing and I think I still need to find that perfect shade of wine-tinted lipstick... will definitely keep looking.

I don't know, I actually like that shade of lipstick a lot. It's a bit darker than a lot of the crimson's I've seen, and that's a good thing. Slightly more elegant as opposed to flashy, and you really pull it off.

Crimson looks good! Red lipstick is my ultimate favourite colour. I've been wearing red for about 5 years now and I don't think that I'll ever get sick of it. It is such a classic and no matter your skin tone, there is a shade for everybody.

dont find the shade really flattering for your skin tone...maybe try a a slightly lighter shade, plus make sure you use lip liner in the exact shade....as for brands i think nothing beats mac....they dont wear off and dont dry your lips either....i still think you have pulled it off well
