I totally thought that was Megan Fox when I first saw the picture, but I guess it's Vanessa Hudgens.... I think in general she's cute, but that outfit does look pretty dumb, as do many of the outfits that "fashionable" people wear. Karla, I love your legs! I don't even think they are "bigger" as people say. They are just nice legs! You have a really nice body, and you NEVER, EVER, EVER look fat, AT ALL! Back in my father's gardening days, zucchini was the only thing (besides weeds) that grew enthusiastically. We had so much we couldn't give it away. We'd have to leave it on neighbors' porches, ring the bell and run for it.

this was probably the most entertaining set of comments I've ever read on a fashion blog. I certainly don't think that Karla should stop anonymous comments because this shit is hysterical.
I found the old SPG pic kind of endearing; the outfit is pretty rough but it shows how far you've come... plus you KNOW there are pictures of ALL of us out there with awful outfits... I'm thinking of a particular high school pic of me in stretch AE jeans (gag), a silver sequined belt/sash, a Ramones tee, and flip flops... soo disgusting but, whatever *shrugs* we aren't fashionistas from birth...
Those nude heels are sick. Love. Also, I love it when bloggers put up actual artists they are inspired by; my inspiration/mood board consists almost exclusively of works from Hesse, Rauschenberg, and Duchamp.

Hello! It was me who indicated Studio TMLS last week. All brazilian versions of fashion magazines (specially In Style) are in love with this brand! I love heels, but I just can't imagine myself wearing one of them (I'm just 5.11'...should use it, but I'm just not able). We do have many interesting shoes and outfit brands here. I'll share some with you later =)
I lost some time reading comments. It's amazing to see how people just get crazy with success. You were succesfull just showing your style. And people come to comment about poor fabric, bad style...what fuck are they doing here? These are the kind of people who think that fashion=brand. They can't see the beauty in vintage clothes, cheap pieces mixed with great stylish ones. Poor them. Congratulations Karla! Lovely!

How strange: I just bought a whole bunch of zucchini yesterday, probably right around the time you posted this. I'm really into zucchini (or courgettes, as they call 'em in England) at the moment: infinite possibilities.
Another infinitely possible thing is the jean shorts with black look - I shoot streetstyle and help predict trends for a company, and this month it's been everywhere on everyone, whether it works for them or not. I agree there's a bit too much going on here, but trust me: I've seen worse.
If Karla has chunky legs I'd hate to know what mine would be considered lol :( some ppl have such a warped body image, but I LOVE myself, thick legs and all. And it's easy to sit there and criticize when you dont have your face/body out there. Karla looks GOOD!
