\Please excuse the sporadic posting lately- school has become quite overwhelming and I have been doing nothing but studying for midterms and working on projects that I personally find rather ridiculous.
Oh and about the previous debate (Dsquared2 vs Fendi), I've decided on a pair of Stella McCartneys instead because I wasn't really digging either of those shoes as much as I thought I was. The Dsquared2 platforms aren't any different from most of the shoes I already own and the Fendi heels do indeed have some kind of strange proportion thing going on with the sculptured heel. So thank you for helping me guys!

I'm not trying to be a bitch but I kind of agree with the overly-enthusiastic bitchy anonymous commenter on the shoe debate. What drew me to your blog originally was how incredibly you put yourself together WITHOUT dripping in designer labels and feeling the need to show off how rich your parents are (its obvious that you aren't paying for this stuff yourself)... I loved that you wore pieces that a "regular" girl could get inspiration from. I feel like with the shoe debate and "going with some Stella's" seems kind of pathetic... sorry... maybe I'm just jealous that my parents don't bankroll me anymore since I graduated from college last year.

Karla, I honestly didn't mean any disrespect. I just assumed that your parents pick up the majority of your tab because you are a student and as far as I can tell you have never once mentioned a job besides some modeling. (I know from personal experience that modeling barely pays rent, let alone an ever-increasing wardrobe.) Regardless, I think my previous comment was just out of exasperation because the tone of the blog has gotten a tiny bit superior as of late, but its totally not my place to be "disappointed" in your blog, because its YOUR blog and not mine. I still think your outfits are great, and I hold the firm belief that one of the top outfits I've viewed on a fashion blog EVER was your tutu/men's shirt/shearling jacket ensemble. i totally feel you about school. ive become fidm's slave lately. i LOVE the glasses you are wearing. so amazing. and you should definitely get the mesh insert bodysuit from aa. it would look amazing on you. it fits so well too and its so comfortable.
Erm...why do we care how she got her money? I'm totally serious. Some people have more money to spend on clothes than others, that's all. Heck, I used to spend all my money on computer parts! (I worked as a computer technician) and I didn't care about how I looked until recently.
I mean, fashion and style is something that you can only constantly keep up with if you keep buying new things. It looks to me like she buys basics, and gets her unique pieces from thrifting, and splurges on shoes. Which frankly, makes a great deal of sense.
A $5 cotton tee from Forever 21 isn't going to make your body any healthier than a $400 cotton tee from Saks. However, wearing a really nice pair of shoes is significantly better for your feet. Women get more foot problems than men because they often wear ill fitting shoes.
I just think that some people are taking the blog too seriously.
