Although I felt really overdressed while at Target searching for Sex and the City disc set, I realized that wearing heels to the market or donning a super frilly dress to the post office makes me to feel like I can perform to the best of my capabilities.
Some readers have asked me "Do you ever just want to wear sweats?"... the answer is actually no. As vain as this may sound, I enjoy prancing in platforms around my suburban neighborhood, even if my feet are kind of in pain. It's all for the sake of "feeling good"... and when I feel good, I do good.

I actually don't wear sweats either. I think they are so unattractive. Sure the yoga pant is great for working out but even just lounging around the house I usually just slip on my AA thick knit leggings.
Okay so I see that everybody loves these Kain pocket tee's so a few weeks ago I found one and tried it on and honestly, I don't think it is work the $80. I found the same thing, same sheer quality, same fabric, same fit, at F21 for a 90% less. STILL THINK YOU'RE FABULOUS THOUGH!
AND KEEP UP THE EXPIERMENTATIONS WITH FABRICS, PRINTS, AND FITS. IT'S NICE TO SEE SOMEONE MIX AND MATCH LIKE THAT.

It's partly because you wrote exactly what I felt today! I'm currently studying for my Law degree and at the same time working as a paralegal in a local law firm (and I'm only 22), and as you can figure most people in this line of work always dress in a drabby cloned 'corporate' getup, BORING!!!!...yawwwnnnn.
I know I get looks when I step into the elevator and I'm wearing a bright red high waisted skirt, victorian-inspired white vintage blouse and big brown animal print hoops (and im 5'10 and love to rock heels!;D), this being one of my many get-ups and HELL YEAH you feel like you can pretty much get anything done!
This morning I went to sleep @ 4 and woke up @ 6 (yes just 2 hours of sleep!!) TRYING to do a paper I have due today, and even though I was as tired as hell,I looked into my closet to get out my outfit for the day and got ready for work.
I tell you it was almost an instant effect...I couldn't help but feel that I could and WOULD get all my shit done today and still look great at the end of it all!!:P

Also - in regards to wearing platforms all the time... don't your feet hurt in them? Or do you find them to be comfortable?

Karla! I am the same way. I own only one pair of sweats, and they're more like leggings anyway, for Yoga. I love wearing heels. Better to be overdressed than underdressed. gorgeous photos!

Stop this circus, all of you. If Karla has made this whole blog thing her own big thing and she's turning to be the next fashion it-girl, why not/what's your problem? She's certainly good at it! Since the moment she realized the blog could go far, why wouldn't she make an effort to continue, keeping it as fashionable as posible?
Truth is, having all these people snooping around your blog, like, everyday and all that, has turn you famous, at least on the web world. You guys don't understand that w/ all those mean comments, the only thing u can get is turning her even more well-known!
:) Anyways, of course there are things that could be improved but nobody's perfect and she never claim to be perfect. Plus - if she has enough money to spend on these absurd amounts of clothing, then why not, if she wants to? - I bet 90% of you would do the same, or else u wouldnt be posting comments here. I love fashion, trends, runway...and I truly believe that someone's style and way of dressing it's a deep and individual expression of who you are. Besides, fashion is related to cinema, literature and art in general. It's a creativity process that can not simply be linked to narcissism habits.
About Karla's Closet...I'm not a fan of your style, although I liked the outfittes you wore while you were in Europe.
And the person who wrote about your legs being a size 14 is obvisouly a woman, a straight one.
