Rue St. Honore

pairs9-1.jpg picture by stylebook18paris3-1.jpg picture by stylebook18
paris1-1.jpg picture by stylebook18

Just arrived yesterday and I'm already in love with this city. Crepes are amazing, vehicles don't seem to care about pedestrians, the Louvre Museum was beautiful, and I'm embarrassed to say anything in French in fear of sounding like a complete fool.

Wearing vintage pale pink blazer, vintage fur scarf layered under boyfriend's knitted scarf, Victoria Secret black bustier bra, black leather paneled riding pants, Zara bow flats, and Super wayfarers

Those sunnies suit you so well love the whole outfit!

When I was last in Paris I walked around the city in a white pair of oversized Havaianas that I bought midway cos my heels were killing me and hence in all my photos I looked like crap. I have to go back!

Ah I hope you're having so much fun in paris. I love that blazer. Florence is one of my favourite places in the world, my only advice to you is drink as much red wine there as you can, because it will never taste as good anywhere else.
Roma is full of awesome shopping for cheap unique places. At night, the Drunken Ship (vile name, fun place) is a lot of fun.
Have fun xo

I went to Paris years ago and was shocked at the traffic! They park anywhere, across zebra-crossings and up on pavements! You take your life in your hands trying to walk across the roads, they just charge at you and at roundabouts there appears to be no lanes, lol! Have fun, it's really beautiful, I have very fond memories of my (short) time there.

Sanna said...

karla, this is just gorgeous! the color of the blazer really suits you! wish i could wear pastels, but I would look quite sick with my fair skin :P envy the wayfarers!

Comfy flats! What a nice change - and you fit right in this fashionable city :)

PS - try speaking in French, they'll just speak back to you in English but they will appreciate your effort, no matter how shoddy it sounds and will less likely label you an "UGLY AMERICAN"

Hi Karla!I don't know if you're still in paris or not, but if You 're still there you MUST go to 2 amazing places:one is the vintage shop most loved by the people who actually live in Paris:Free P Star. The address is 8, Rue Sainte croix de La Bretonnerie in the marais, 4th Arrondissement, Tube stop St. Paul. It's amazing and VERY cheap. And then, one of my favourite second hand shop, called "depot vente" in France is Les Ginettes, 4, Rue du Sabot, 6th Arrondissement, Tube stop St. Germain, near Rue de Rennes and Rue du Four. You have to visit them.
Have a great vacation in Paris!
