Mesh Heart

I was browsing one of my favorite vintage shops in Burbank when I stumbled upon this cut-out studded bandage dress. Planning to wear it in the winter with a super oversized coat or maybe even a leather jacket.

Wearing vintage dress and Colin Stuart boots.

I'd just like to let you know that one of the reasons I admire you so much is the fact that you aren't 97 pounds. I LOVE the fact that you have a healthy-looking body. You are absolutely beautiful, clothes fit you extraordinarily well, and I really hope you don't give into the stupid stick-thin obsession so many other girls seems to have. Please don't change, you inspire me the way you are.

LOVE the dress!
and your hair is reallyyy growing on me. it's so cute.

Killer dress. Are those sequins? If so, awesome. The sweetheart neckline is also amazing.

Don't Be A Hero said...

okay, how do you do it? everything I find vintage is so ugly I can't justify the low price or eight sizes too big so I buy it anyway under the ruse that I'll have it altered which I never end up doing. Gah! Why don't I have your talent? The world is no longer fair :P

you remind me of a fashion editor or something in these pics =)

Adorable :) Sounds great with oversized coat.
Btw, you so remind me of my bestfriend now that you cut your hair, but also in the smoothie photo some posts ago - you look a bit wild, like her ;)

Oh gods of vintage dresses, please send me one just like it!
It is fabulous!!

You really need to get over this lace up booty footwear fetish. It's getting really, really monotonous. Besides that, they make your legs look so short. Seriously, just change it up! You don't have to get rid of them but maybe every other time you blog, wear something that shoes the ankle or even *GASP* the arch of your foot??

my very first favorite vintage {actually thrift} shop was in Burbank. Oh, it was so great and no one knew about it. I must have been 18 {wow 14 years ago} and everything was so cheap. It was smelly and dirty but huge and fantastic and I would go every weekend! ...then everyone found out about it ...and the prices went up ...and then it wasn't so awesome any more. But I haven't been in years.

The dress looks adorable on you ...but reminds me of 1992 ...when you must have been a wee baby :) for I am ancient now.

for winter, try it with a huge fluffy fake fur thing.

burbank vintage shopping is so underrated. I've found some pretty sick pieces from there. My #1 favorite is Hubba Hubba. If you haven't been, you must check it out! And the lady that owns the place...you'll love her!

the stylish wanderer: The vintage shop is called Hubba Hubba. I pretty much always find something there.

maddie: Aw thank you maddie :)

kim: They’re studs! Sequins would be killer though.

clare: Perhaps I’ll give the ankle boots a rest, but NEVER the heels. Sorry, I’m too in love.

lydia: Early evening indeed.

roisin: Yesss! Pat is her name right? She’s fabulous, love her and love Hubba Hubba.

harlen: They’re studs and sadly I didn’t get any close ups... so sad :(

I love anything that sparkles and glimmers. That is a great dress :)
