My LBD

This is definitely my new favorite dress. I wore it to school Saturday and felt a bit overdressed as everyone in my class was wearing t-shirts and yoga pants. Oh well.  Wearing a dress by H&M dress and Report shoes.

Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but when you say something is "vintage" -- what does that mean? Where do you get them? I've always wondered where you got such beautiful finds =/ Do you mean thrift stores? Flea markets?

You're super cute :)

The dress is cute. It's like a longer more chic version of the AA Skater dress (without the tacky sheen!). I think it could look really adorable for winter especially.

But I think that because it is to the knees, the socks with the shoes crop your legs too much. Otherwise LOVE IT.

I'm just wondering, what are your favorite flea markets? Are there any good ones in Vta. County? Do you ever go to the Rose Bowl?

i love being inappropriately dressed sometimes..! Great dress, very versatile actually. Hey, i went to the flea market today too! check out my posting for today... i find so much comfort in flea markets. Very stress relieving dont you think? anywaysssss... (hehe, i say it too)

ooohh!! I have that dress & I love it. The only downfall is it's too tight around the midsection. Kinda hard to breathe but hey it looks great!

Tinkerbell and fairies said...

a great dress that can look casual or formal depending on how you dress up!
Unique idea of pairing up with socks! Made the look more casual!
you'd look great if you tied your hair!

You are lovely in this little tiny dress. And who cares if you're "overdressed" to go to school? When I go to school, i'm always dressed up, and most of the time i get lots of compliments.

Thank you! And you´re welcome :)

The dress looks great! Is it in stores now? And I love the socks in the shoes, I must try that somtime!

The dress is gorgeous, I love the silhouette of it! I'm still not 100% sole on the socks and heels trend though... Perhaps if the skirt was shorter? I wish we had flea-markets down here! There's only so many times a week you can look through the same thrift stores.

Hi Karla! You always look beautiful, whatever you wear. Just one question for you; I tried to find the shoes on solestruck.com, but I got lost in the amount of brands, so under what brands shall I look?

By the way, lovely dress, how much did it cost?

Greetings from Norway :)

That dress is so amazing! I can't believe its from H&M! What a great deal. It reminds me of this adorible Hollywould tiered dress i've been in love with:
http://www.shopgoldyn.com/product.details.aspx?pid=600
also feminine and beautiful. But sadly, a bit too formal for class im sure. :)

Awesome photos, really cute dress! Don't worry about dressing up, I often find society dresses too "down" all the time. I mean Lulu Lemon pants? Overrated.

Ps. I always used to use "anywas" and found out it's not really a word. I still use it all the time though... I just prefer seeing that 's' there. Haha, I'm a weirdo.

anon8:17: I mean anything I've found in a vintage shop, thrift store, or flea market. The word "vintage" should only be used to describe things from the 70s and 80s... I use the word incorrectly. Oops!

anon8:19: Oh it's such a winter dress, can't wait to wear it with tights!

poster girl: My all time favorite is the Rose Bowl flea market. Too bad it's not very Sunday :(

karafina: The flea market is definitely therapeutic for me.

shoebox: It should be in stores, I only got it about a week and a half ago.

unwise pedestrian: I'm thinking of shortening the hem...

fashion is poison: Yes, but I finished this Saturday! Woot woooot

anon3:01: The brand is Report and they're about $175 I believe

barbara: They're the kind that come in packs of three, in the lady's section!

msbettan: Thank you lady, glad you love my blog :) I get the Rachel Bilson thing quite often haha :)

songy: Oh you know it!

fashion chalet: Haha I've never seen her actually! Although a friend of mine told me she had a class with her and had to sign some sort of document because she'd be on TV.

audrey: I'll check out your blog lady!

landis smithers: My dearest father is the photographer, he's great! And I went back to the flea market this Sunday...so glad it was still there!

jamie: Awesome, I'll check you out on chictopia.com

jenn: AnywayS sounds so much better than anyway.
