Kazza said...

You always have wonderful outfits!!
Lovely lovely.
Random thought, but I always wonder; how do we know what we dress like is truly stylish? Since everyone has different taste and think some particular items we don't find the most attractive fashionable.. People with different opinions on clothing and such will find different things stylish, so who are we to judge on what someone of different taste wears as not fashionable, since they might consider it to be so?
Just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are on that.
:)

Kazza said...

I hope that made some sort of sense.. LOL

Tiana said...

Those shoes are outrageous.
The blazer's got an interesting print! It does spice up the shirt & skirt.
I really don't like those plaid shorts. People here LOVE them...but the dress was actually pretty cute!

Adiel said...

I have noticed your lack of prints, but this pattern seems to suit you well anyway.

Mickie said...

oh so you mean he loves the EXACT same style my boyfriend used to love on girls. BLAH. Thank goodness I finally converted my non-believer. I'm certain you are more than capable of doing the same for your friend;). Silly boys. Those shoes are seriously the radness btw. The glasses are wicked as well. Always the muse.

Cheyenne said...

Those glasses along with the blazer are very awesome

Sorry Karla's friend. F21 pieces could e made to work, but kitten heels are a hopeless case. And super pointy? The fashionista crowd will forgive you for being totally clueless :)

You are so awesome! I have a few questions:

- Will you post a video blog?
- How do you manage to walk in high heels for so long? My feet always start to hurt like hell at the end of the day.

Thanks babe, and I'll definitely keep coming back. ;-)

Love from Holland,
Yasmine

Hi Karla, I was just wondering, cause you seem confident of yourself.would you wear something that you really like but may be unflattering? Do you care about what others say about what you wear?

That blazor is amazing! And you make it work so well with your outfit. It reminds me of this Mint coat i was looking at the other day:

I hate England, officially! The charity shops are full of seriously granny stuff (nothing of any use at all) and the only vintage shops near me are in a really scary part of Manchester. I ventured out once (with my mother) and I ended up walking straight down the next side street to get away. :(

I love all your blazers, and those shoes are amazing. Don't know how you walk in them, mind! I have to stick to chunky heels! haha

the shoes are absolutely incredible. and i'm really liking the orange nail polish!

judy: the audrey dress is a size xsmall. Zara's sizes fit me big!

kazza: Well you make a great point. What someone might find attractive could be completely hideous to another person. The only reason I mocked his style preference was because he made fun of me ;)

styledigger: They're actually not that difficult to walk in! :)

doll: It's from the "divided" section (I believe that's what it's called).

bene: Haha! (I really laughed)

j'adore fashion: Oooo haven't seen the gray ones! I'm gonna check them out.

anon11:30: Definitely size up. The dress shrinks a bit when you wash it and it rides when you walk so sizing up helps prevent future wardrobe malfunctions.

allison: Hmm, I'll have to think about that considering I'm an ankle boot type of girl ;)

knight cat: Left a comment on your blog about the hair thing.

mimi: Oh this watch is my new obsession!

thefashionhead: Did you know that your comments always make me laugh?

kasey: Black!

anon7:55: I'm 5'5 :)

anon3:04: Could you specify where you've met me personally?

alis: Yes, let's forgive him for not knowing any better.

vintage vinyl: I use photobucket instead of uploading straight from my computer.

leila grace: No haha, it's not fishes, it's a floral print!

diabolina: No no no, forever21 has some great things occasionally- it's what HE picks from the store that is the issue here ;)

yasmine: Posted a video blog not too long ago ;) And about the heels, some shoes hurt my feet by the end of the day but for the most part I'm pretty comfortable in heels.

brittany: There's a great selection of secondhand at any Goodwill in the LA area!

hannah: Well sometimes people say I shouldn't wear certain things because I'm not some 6 foot lady. But if I feel comfortable, then I'll wear it. I don't really mind what others say about my style that much. It's just about wearing what feels real you know?

hannah: Haha you're silly. I would think England would be full of vintage shops!

tres22 said...

It's so funny you mentioned this! I showed a male friend of mine that bag I'm drooling over (the one you have in Turqouise and Black), and he said it looked like a "granny bag." lol He is the exact same way; he's into trendy stuff, and he somehow feels that it's only sharp if you've paid an arm and a leg for it. Some people just don't understand the whole "style" thing, Karla. Lol, we can't be mad at them! They don't know any better. Ha!
